Location of plots:
The farm is located in a region where the plots are bordered by hedgerows. These are well-maintained and therefore pose no problems. The buildings are surrounded by approximately 30 hectares. This facilitates grazing because there is an outdoor area for the dairy cows, with free movement between the milking robots and the pasture.

A large free-stall barn (1100 m²) with 93 waterbeds and feed fences, and a milking parlor with two Lely A4 milking robots. There is a cow run with free movement between the milking robots and the pasture.
The cows walk on slatted floors, and beneath the building is a manure storage facility of approximately 900 m3 . The manure storage facility is connected to an open manure storage facility of approximately 200 m3 .
There’s also a 320 m² barn for heifers (in winter) and 440 m² of straw and hay storage. Finally, there’s a 240 m² barn for young cattle.
There are 3 silos on the site for ensiling: 50m x 10m, 52m x 10m and 44m x 7m.
Like many farmers in this region, they rely on a tool cooperative (Cuma) or contractor for the ensiling of grass and maize silage.

The farm is located in the Corrèze department, approximately 50 km south of Limoges. Due to its location right on the Massif Central, it receives ample rainfall, averaging around 1100 mm per year. This is beneficial for feed production.
The nearest village for basic necessities is 5 km away. A larger town with supermarkets, schools, etc. is 10 km away.
The farm is particularly well-suited to the installation of young farmers. The dairy has promised to increase the milk quota.
